Airport pickup + FEE
Bi-lingual staff from our International Office will meet students at the airport once they clear immigration and customs. Transportation to host families or Universidad Latina de Costa Rica campuses will be provided.
All students will receive an orientation session. Class information, extra-curricular activities, student services and campus facilities is just some of the information that will be shared with the students as part of our welcoming process.
Universidad Latina de Costa Rica offers support with the student permit necessary to study in Costa Rica. You can receive assistance by e-mail at email@example.com.
Excursions + FEE
One day and weekend excursions are offered to the students based on their interests and fields of study. These excursions, both national and within Central America, have either a recreational or an academic orientation, based on student preferences.
Conversation Partner and Buddy Programs
The International Office leads both a Conversation Partner Program and a Buddy Program with local and international students. The Buddy Program welcomes the international student into college life in Costa Rica.
Academic Support and Student Counseling
All students enrolled in the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica will have access to academic support, vocational orientation and counseling sessions at no additional costs for the student.
All international students are welcomed and encouraged to participate in clubs, sports activities and social and cultural events together with Costa Rican students or specifically arranged for international students at no additional cost. These range from Yoga and Aerobics classes to the Chess Club; from Soccer to the Music Club, from one-time classes in Costa Rica cooking to multi-lingual conversation clubs; from celebration of Costa Rica holidays to live transmission of international events such as the World Business Forum, the Clinton Global Initiative and various WOBI (World of Business Ideas) events throughout the year. These live transmissions are only available in Costa Rica at the Universidad Latina campuses.
